MONDAY MOVIES at The Wayne
Until further notice, all Movies at the Wayne are virtual/at-home experiences. Our featured, classic films will include a special video introduction by Jimmy Overton (Jimmy O) and each Monday, we invite you to watch Jimmy's introduction (to be made available here) and on our social channels, and then enjoy the film at home via Blu-ray, DVD, or through the streaming service of your choice (such as Netflix).
This week's film is:
While vacationing in Morocco, American tourist Ben McKenna (James Stewart) learns of an assassination plot but can't turn to the police without endangering his young son, who's been kidnapped to ensure McKenna's silence. Director Alfred Hitchcock's suspenseful remake of his 1934 thriller features a rare dramatic turn by Doris Day as Ben's wife and makes legendary use of the Oscar-winning tune "Whatever Will Be, Will Be (Que Sera, Sera)."
