We are so excited to announce all of the amazing upcoming events happening this fall at Wayne Theatre, and we want you to be a part of the fun!
We know that saying goodbye to summer can be sad, so we are giving you countless events to look forward to as the days get cooler.
Here is a sneak peek at what we have in store for you and your family this fall season:
- Studio Wayne, our Arts Education programs and classes are bursting with opportunities this fall for all grade levels.
- Wayne On Main: Our FREE outdoor concert series ends in September and has been incredible fun for the community.
- Soldiers' Chorus: The US Army Field Band presents "Let Freedom Sing," a celebration of the American spirit in song happening on August 20.
- You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown: This show, based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip, opens August 26 and runs through early September. Our in-house production of the hit musical features everyone's favorite Peanuts characters.
- Larnell Starkey & The Spiritual Seven Gospel Singers: Singing for over 50 years, this family group from Virginia is known by many as “The Temptations of Gospel music.” They will appear in concert on September 10.
- Jim Messina: The legendary singer-songwriter, who’s musical genius spans five decades, three super groups, a vibrant solo career, and scores of producing and engineering credits, will perform live in concert on October 21.
- HalloWayne at the Wayne Theatre will feature an assortment of spooky productions and mayhem including a special on-stage production of Dial M For Murder! Plus, our Studio Wayne student performers will showcase their skills as part of the HalloWayne fun, including their performances of Madagascar, Jr. and Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Jr.
- Nunsense! the musical comedy that we think you're going to love happens this November!
- Plus, don’t forget about our Monday Movies where you can see classic blockbusters like "When Harry Met Sally", "Fantastic Voyage", "Ghostbusters", and "Jurassic Park". These films are Pay What You Will with showtimes at 2 pm and 7 pm each Monday, featuring an introduction and commentary by Jimmy Overton.

After all, there's no time like the beautiful autumn season when you're in the Shenandoah Valley...and we've got so many fun events in store to make the season even better!
