The Wayne Theatre is excited to welcome Stacey Strawn as our newest staff member! A longtime resident of the Shenandoah Valley, Stacey first came to the area to pursue her undergraduate studies in Theatre and Communications at James Madison University...and she never left. For nearly three decades, she has called Waynesboro home, earned a Master’s degree in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University, and successfully owned a Main Street business specializing in luxury gifts.

Though her current role in development is new terrain, Stacey is no stranger to building connections and showcasing the power of a great experience. In her previous career, she excelled in marketing and online sales, merging creativity with a keen understanding of technology, SEO, and email marketing. Now at the Wayne, Stacey’s goal is to “sell” the magic of live performances, musicals, and community programming that bring people together.

Her passion for music, theater, and festival culture fuels her desire to invite new audiences to the Wayne Theatre. Stacey loves introducing people to shows that match their interests...whether it’s live music, tribute bands, student productions, or emerging artists. By helping patrons discover performances that speak to them, she aims to foster a deeper connection between our community and the vibrant arts we celebrate.

In her own words, Stacey describes herself as someone who “really loves people” and thrives on conversation and learning about others. That warmth and enthusiasm blend perfectly with her excitement about reconnecting with the creative community here at the Wayne Theatre. We look forward to seeing her bring fresh perspectives and big ideas as she carries on our tradition of inspiring and entertaining audiences.
