Get ready for an unforgettable night of music, laughter, and storytelling as “Evening in the Round” comes to the Wayne Theatre on Sunday, December 7 at 7:00 pm. This intimate acoustic concert features Grammy Award-winner Linda Davis, acclaimed songwriter and guitarist Lang Scott, and award-winning country humorist and songwriter Bill Whyte: together on the Wayne stage for one incredible evening.
With a warm, down-home spirit and the unmistakable heart of Nashville, this trio brings “a little taste of Music City” right here to Downtown Waynesboro.
Linda Davis, known for her powerful vocals and the chart-topping duet “Does He Love You?” with Reba McEntire, has shared the stage with country greats like George Strait, Garth Brooks, and Kenny Rogers. A Grammy, CMA, and ACM award-winner…and member of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame, Linda’s voice and presence light up every stage she graces.
Joining her is husband and fellow Grammy-winner, Lang Scott, an accomplished singer-songwriter and the proud father of Hillary Scott, lead vocalist of Lady A. With his deep roots in country music and years touring with Reba McEntire, Lang adds heartfelt harmonies and personal insight to the night’s musical journey.
Rounding out the trio is Bill Whyte, whose wit, wordplay, and cleverly crafted songs have earned him accolades both as a hit songwriter and a radio personality. With a mix of heartfelt ballads and laugh-out-loud moments, Bill brings an irresistible charm to our stage that will keep you smiling from start to finish.
“Evening in the Round” isn’t just a concert. It’s a conversation, a shared experience, and a celebration of stories told through song. Whether you’re a longtime country music fan, or simply love great live music, this show is a must-see!
