River City Radio Hour Reunion

Celebrate a century of stories, songs, and laughter at the historic Wayne Theatre as the beloved River City Radio Hour returns for a special reunion performance on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 7:00 PM. This live variety show, packed with music, comedy, and nostalgic charm, brings together favorite acts from the show’s original run, including The Boogie Kings, “Lady of Laughter” Marsha Howard, an Elvis impersonator, the Hens of Renown, Kevin Chisnell, and more.

In true Radio Hour tradition, audiences will also enjoy a brand-new original radio serial performed live on stage...all part of a one-of-a-kind evening that honors the legacy of local performance and the Wayne Theatre’s enduring place in our community.

This special event celebrates the Wayne Theatre’s 100th anniversary and 10th year since reopening. From its early days as a vaudeville and movie house in 1926 to its vibrant resurgence as the regions premier source for live arts and education in 2016, the Wayne Theatre has been a gathering place for generations.
