Begins Oct. 9
For rising 6th-12th Grade students. In this hands-on class, students will learn the importance of props in a theatrical production and how to design props for a production. Under the direction of Lesley Larsen, students will design props for Studio Wayne's productions of Shrek JR and 101 Dalmatians KIDS. Students will work together to see their designs come to life on stage.

12+ (Including Adults) Do you have a secret love of zombies and vampires? Want to learn how to make some gnarly bruises, cuts and burns? Join our exclusive Special FX Makeup Class: Halloween Edition! Instructor Sarah Cramer will demonstrate how to execute convincing wounds, spooky effects and chilling characters to complete your Halloween costume or startle your friends and family.
Session meets weekly on Wednesday from 5pm -6:30pm in the Green Room of the Wayne Theatre.
Schedule (3 classes): October 13, 20, and 27.
Begins Oct. 16
For rising 6th-12th Grade students. Costume Design students will work with a Studio Wayne Teaching Artist to learn some of the basics of costume design. Using Studio Wayne's production of Shrek JR, these students will work with the costume designer to create pieces for our production and see their work come to life onstage!
Begins Oct. 21
For rising 4th-12th Grade students. Students will work with published illustrator, Zachary Trover to learn basic cartooning, including character design and tricks to the creative process.
Begins Oct. 23
For rising 6th-12th Grade students. A rare hands-on experience with one of the most fantastical makeup spectacles in Broadway history! Learning principles of stage makeup design, students will choose characters from Shrek JR and see them through the full creative process, including concept, design, rendering and application. Students will supervise makeup for Studio Wayne's production of Shrek JR, and see their designs come to life onstage.
