Broadway Vocals Kids
Grade Level: Rising 4th-7th Graders
Begins: January 31, 2022
For budding young singers, 4th-7th Grade Students, learn how to take charge of your voice! Join Music Director Sarah Cramer to practice the basics of vocal production and ear training, strengthen your voice, and discover how to express character through song. For singers who want to act and actors who want to sing, this class develops strong actor/singer skills through group work and solos from contemporary and classic Broadway hits. Students will present a demonstration on the final day of class.

Beginning Improv

Watercolor Illustration
Grade Level: Rising 8th-12th Graders
Begins: February 3, 2022
Instructor: Zach Trover
Use pen and ink to put details into watercolor painting.. A very simple and fun way to begin (or refresh your art skills) no experience needed. We'll go over paint and ink technique as well as composition. The class will culminate in creating a show worthy piece.

"I have 32 published children's books and dozens of published comic books. I want to share what it takes to put together a book ( from beginning sketches to layout to finishing artwork to book design). Come with your book idea in hand and we can get it to a finished state."

Paint Date Night: Watercolors Edition (Adult Students)

Prop-Making (Disney's The Jungle Book, Kids and Willy Wonka, Jr. Edition)
Grade Level: Rising 6th-12th Graders
Begins: February 12, 2022
In this hands-on class, students will learn the importance of props in a theatrical production and how to design props for a production. Under the direction of Lesley Larsen, students will design props for Studio Wayne's productions of Willy Wonka JR and Jungle Book KIDS. Students will work together to see their designs come to life on stage.

Improv Masterclass
Grades: 8-12th Grades
Begins: February 18, 2022
Advanced Improv students will work with Improv Comedian, Richard Templeman, in an Improv Intensive. Students will improve on their long-form Improv Skills. The work in the class will culminate in an Improv performance open to the public. Prerequisites: Attendance in Beginning or Advanced Improv.

Stage Makeup (Willy Wonka, Jr. Edition)
Grade Level: Rising 6th-12th Graders
Begins: February 26, 2022
A rare hands-on experience with the imaginative world of Willy Wonka! Learning principles of stage makeup design, students will choose characters from Willy Wonka JR and see them through the full creative process, including concept, design, rendering and application. Students will supervise makeup for Studio Wayne's production of Willy Wonka JR, and see their designs come to life onstage.
