DOORS OPEN: For all shows, the exterior lobby doors open one hour before show-time and the doors into the auditorium open at least 30 minutes before show-time.
PAYMENT TYPES ACCEPTED: Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards/debits cards. Checks made payable to the “Wayne Theatre” with valid driver’s license are accepted.
ADVANCE TICKETS: It is recommended that you purchase tickets in advance to secure better seating for reserved seating events. Advance purchase of tickets will also ensure that you will not have to wait in line at the box office and potentially miss the start of the event you are attending. Become a Partner in the Arts to be able to purchase tickets before the general public for selected events.
BOX OFFICE & TICKETS: Box Office Hours are Tuesday and Thursday 10am-2pm and one hour before our events. Stop by or call at 540-943-9999. All tickets have a fee of $6 added at the time of purchase. $3 for the Historic Preservation of the Wayne Theatre and $3 for the Ticketing costs. Your ticket confirmation email will come from Etix.com, so please be sure to look in your spam folder if you do not see it in your inbox.
GENERAL ADMISSION SEATING: General Admission events are events where the seats are not reserved beforehand and seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
RESERVED SEATING: Reserved seating events are events where you choose a specific seat(s) at the time of ticket purchase.
RESALE TICKETS: The Wayne Theatre can only provide customer care and service for tickets purchased through the Wayne Theatre Box Office or website. Tickets that have been purchased via resale cannot be guaranteed.
REFUNDS/EXCHANGES: All sales are final. No requests for cancellations or refunds are accepted. In the event that a performance is canceled or postponed, the Wayne Theatre will make every effort to contact patrons via email, time permitting. If a performance is playing multiple times and tickets are still available, we can exchange tickets for the same performance on a different date. Ticket exchanges are $5 per ticket. Refunds on tickets purchased are made ONLY when the artist cancels or postpones an event. Partner in the Arts members receive free ticket exchanges as a benefit to their membership.
LATE SEATING POLICY: All events start promptly at the time posted printed on the ticket. Late comers will not be seated until the first appropriate pause in the program, as determined by the house staff. Thank you for your cooperation.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: The show will happen unless the artist cancels. If the Wayne Theatre is required to reschedule the show, tickets for the new date will be issued to those who purchased tickets. If you are unable to attend the new date you may donate the cost of your ticket or we will refund your ticket-whichever works best for you.
CHILDREN TICKETING POLICY: Children 2 years of age and older must have a purchased ticket to attend the event. Children under the age of 2 years old are required to stay on the lap of the parent or guardian attending the show. If your child should become restless during the performance, you may visit the Meadows Parlor, in the lobby of the theatre to watch the show on a video screen.
CAMERAS: Video cameras, phone cameras, monopods, tripods, audio recording devices and cameras with telephoto or zoom lenses, including SLR’s are not permitted for most events at the Wayne Theatre. For each event this decision is made by the producer or promoter typically because of the strict copyright laws and/or for the safety of performers. This policy will be strictly enforced.
