Registration Fee:  $120 (Includes $6 fee- $3 Historic Preservation fee and $3 Handling Fee)

Rising 1st - 5th Graders

Many musicals have huge tap ensembles, others have 13 minute "dream ballets", and the hip-hop in Matilda, Hamilton, and In the Heights can inspire all audiences! In this overview of four different dance styles. Students will get a sampling of Broadway Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and Hip-hop. They will learn the origins of each style and how these styles play into Musical Theatre performance! On the final day of class, students will work on using steps and techniques they have learned to create their own piece, which will performed along with a piece in the four other styles introduced earlier in the week!

Last Day to register for this class June 18, 2026.

Classes will be held Monday, June 22nd - Friday, June 26th, 2026 from 1:00 pm-2:30 pm each day.

Classes will be held in Studio Wayne.

A fee of $6 will be added to registration at the time of purchase.  ($3 for Historic Preservation of the Wayne and $3 for Ticket Handling)
