Waynesboro, VA - The Historic Wayne Theatre in Downtown Waynesboro is proud to announce the return of acclaimed singer-songwriter Scott Miller in concert on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 7:00 pm.
Recently inducted into the East Tennessee Writers Hall of Fame, Miller has long been celebrated for his fiery roots-rock sound and his ability to weave Appalachian history, rural life, and emotional honesty into his songwriting. Praised by AllMusic.com for combining “the emotional honesty and intelligence of a singer/songwriter with the swagger and enthusiasm of a rock & roller,” Miller has built a career as both a bandleader and solo artist, earning critical acclaim and a loyal following.
A Staunton, VA native, Miller first rose to prominence in the 1990s as guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter with the pop/rock band The V-Roys, before establishing himself as a gifted solo artist. He has performed alongside respected names including Patty Griffin, Robbie Fulks, Paul Thorn, Robin & Linda Williams, and American Aquarium.
Known for his wit, storytelling, and dynamic performances, Miller continues to captivate audiences with music that reflects both personal truths and the complexities of modern life. His return to the Wayne Theatre promises to be an unforgettable evening for longtime fans and new listeners alike.
