Tanzanite Acrobats to Perform Live at the Historic Wayne Theatre on October 18, 2025, as Part of Wayne Theatre's 10th/100th Anniversary Season

Waynesboro, VA - The Wayne Theatre will present a special one-night performance by the Tanzanite Acrobats on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. This internationally acclaimed troupe from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, brings an evening of high-energy acrobatics, live music, and cultural celebration to downtown Waynesboro.

Renowned for their extraordinary athleticism and dynamic performances, the Tanzanite Acrobats showcase the vibrant spirit and traditions of East Africa. Their performance includes gravity-defying stunts, powerful choreography, and colorful cultural storytelling, creating a memorable and family-friendly experience for all ages.

The event is one of several special presentations taking place during the Wayne Theatre’s ongoing 10th/100th anniversary celebrations. The 2025–2026 season commemorates both the 10th anniversary of the Theatre’s modern-era establishment as a performing arts organization and the 100th anniversary of the original Wayne Theatre, which first opened in 1926.
