Van Morrison Hits with VAN the Band Comes to the Wayne Theatre on November 6, 2025

Waynesboro, VA - The Wayne Theatre will present Van Morrison Hits with VAN the Band on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., as part of its 10th/100th anniversary season lineup. The performance offers an authentic concert experience celebrating the legendary music of Van Morrison, one of the most influential and genre-spanning artists in modern music history.

Led by Irish-born vocalist Padraig Allen, Van the Band captures the sound, atmosphere, and spirit of Van Morrison’s work, performing well-known hits like “Brown Eyed Girl” and selections from his decades-long catalog. The band features professional musicians with diverse backgrounds, many of whom hold advanced music degrees and have toured internationally.

Van Morrison’s music blends elements of R&B, jazz, soul, blues, and Celtic folk, creating a style that is uniquely his own. The performance is part of the Wayne Theatre’s 2025–2026 season, which commemorates both the 10th anniversary of its modern-era establishment as a performing arts organization and the 100th anniversary of the original Wayne Theatre, founded in 1926.
