Wayne Theatre Presents the 15th Annual Virginia Chili, Blues & Brews Festival

WAYNESBORO, VA – The Wayne Theatre proudly announces the return of the 15th Annual Virginia Chili, Blues & Brews Festival, happening Saturday, September 13, 2025, beginning at 12:00 noon at Lumos Plaza in Downtown Waynesboro. This signature event brings together thousands of chili lovers, craft beer enthusiasts, and live music fans for a full day of unforgettable fun in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Presented by the Wayne Theatre, the Virginia Chili, Blues & Brews Festival draws more than 3,000 attendees each year with its perfect blend of hot chili, cool brews, and sizzling blues – all in support of arts education and community programming through the Wayne Theatre and its Studio Wayne Arts Education programs.

Festival Highlights:

• Live Blues Performances:
  • 1:00 – 2:30 PM: Fatty Lumpkin & The Love Hogs
  • 2:50 – 4:10 PM: KC & the Blues Revue
  • 4:30 – 6:00 PM: The Mojo Parker Band
  • 6:30 – 8:00 PM: The Nighthawks
• Craft Beer & Culinary Delights: Sample an array of craft beers from local and regional breweries, along with diverse food trucks and artisan vendors.
• Community Impact: All proceeds directly benefit the Wayne Theatre’s arts education initiatives, helping sustain live arts, youth programming, and cultural enrichment for all ages throughout the Waynesboro region.

Pre-Festival Kickoff – Friday, September 12
The fun begins early with a free Friday Night Kickoff Party in Downtown Waynesboro. Enjoy live music at Delly Up! and The Green Leaf Grill – no tickets required and no cover charge.

• 4:00 – 6:00 PM: Alex Arbaugh at Delly Up!
• 6:00 – 8:00 PM: Joe Pettus (solo acoustic) at The Green Leaf Grill

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, pets are not permitted on festival grounds. Only trained service animals as defined by the ADA are allowed.

The Wayne Theatre, located in downtown Waynesboro, VA, is a historic 1926 venue dedicated to enriching the community through live performances, arts education, and cultural programming.
